    grows upside down, lots of big flowers for this imported plant (1 or 2 years ago)

    Wonderful. I have seedlings of an outcross from a capsule harvested and sown in Sep 2009. They are growing, but I am still waiting for a bloom. It was a red by a dark pink, both pendant.

    I too have a few seedlings of this cross you shared with me some years ago. They are healthy and easy, but slow growers.
    As I got 4 wild pieces, all in bloom, I assume them to be different clones and made 4 outcrosses.

    only var. Cyperifolium grows upside down! normal violaceum will try to go back to "normal" orientation.
