A dendrobium species from the north of Thaïland. Blooming during the dry winter.

Very nice. Looks a bit like a tropical hard cane type but I imagine it's cool growing?

Its blooming during the dry cool winter in his natural habitat. But in my room he accept to bloom when I decided to stop the water. Just the news canes should have finished to grow. I don't grow this one in cool condition to get blooming. Many orchids from his same habitat accept to bloom even if you don't decrease the temperature like D.scabrilingue, Bulbophyllum morphologlorum... but its better to decrease the temperature to get blooming for sure. I grow Dendrobium secundum too, but this one never bloom if I don't decrease the temperature.
