This plant has been with me for fourteen years now. It his extremely pot bound, it has only been repotted once, just after I brought it. It is dwarfed, the canes are barely one third the size of a fully mature cane. And yet it bloom every year without fail, sometimes twice a year. Denspect2 (2).jpg

I grow it outside it gets a few hours of full sun in the morning. I fertilize it when it is growing and the local rainfall is enough to cover all its needs.

Ricardo, good to see you back. You have been missed.

I also find this species to be trouble free and dependable.

Nice! Somehow, the flowers of this species look "spooky", but I don't know why.

Because they resemble the offspring of an starfish that smoked, abused drugs and drank alcohol when it was pregnant.

I just bought one, as I was very drawn to the surreal-looking flowers. They look like how I imagine Salvador Dali would have painted an orchid.
