Dendrobium rantii is blooming now, had this a few months, so not sure I can take credit for the blooming. It has 8 buds on 3 spikes, which have all made it so far. Plant is fairly large and chaotic with branching canes takes a huge space in my grow area, but definitely worth the space it takes!

The flowers are lovely. I have heard the plant is unruly so have stayed away from it.

I think it's worth the space and mess, but it is absolutely chaotic. I don't think there's an easy way to train it so it doesn't get so out of hand. It looks like a bush or small tree, and branches readily. Maybe using some stakes and wire to train it would produce a less messy looking specimen.
