Dendrobium ovipostoriferum

    This was sold to me as dendrobium takahashii which I think is the same thing. It's the first time blooming for me with a single flower on a relatively compact 8" old cane. The new growths look healthy and are terminating at around 6" so I'm hoping it turns into a compact plant. It's a wonderful nigrohirsute species and I enjoy the little hooked spur at the back

    This one blooms a few times a year, but never with too many flowers. I'm not incredibly excited by it, but I like it.
