I've been a bit lazy with photos lately, but this plant is blooming for the second time this year and I find it quite nice. It was a lovely healthy trade from @slippersnpitchers in Winnipeg.

Wonderful!! I have tried this species a couple of times and failed each time.
As much as I would love to try again, I will have to just enjoy yours.

Like Darlene, I've failed a number of times too, but I'm still trying. Calvin, any cultural advice? Yours looks great!

    Thanks Marni, Darlene.

I can't claim all the credit, as I've only grown this plant for 6 months and this is the first time it's bloomed in my care, off an old cane that existed before I owned the plant. It is now growing 2 new canes.

I think the area it comes from has more uniform water availability, so I keep it always just moist, 17C-22C winter temps a bit warmer in summer. I followed @pcolmans advice too and grow it similar to tobaense

Thanks, Calvin! Is yours mounted or potted?

Marni I have it potted in medium-coarse orchiata with a top dressing of sphagnum. I think it would be too big for me to grow mounted!
