Dendrobium loddigesii ''Dark''

    This the first flowering from a flask of D. loggigesii ''Dark'' from Thailand.
    Not so dark but I'm quite pleased with it. Perhaps I would get more colour with cooler temps that the 15C I give it?
    The leaves certainly have lots of pigment! Another seedling in bud seems to have darker buds...

    Nice root monster! Does this have to be this big to flower? It's going to be for a while for my tiny seedling.

    I've had relatively small plants bloom.

    Thanks, Marni & Mike. So is it multiple individuals in the pot? It looks like 7-10 pseudobulbs in the photos.

    Hey Brett, Yes I'm not disappointed but I was hoping for dark purple with a red throat. :p
    How's the defasking going?

    Hopefully others come out darker as you get more seedlings blooming
