This was a pleasant surprise when the first flowers opened on this seedling earlier this summer. The blooms start as yellow with a faint blush of red and then mature to a more clear yellow as they age. It's not the best example that I've seen of this color form, but it's uncommon to see full, flat yellows in cuthbertsonii (from what I've seen anyway).

the colour looks amazing! but it seems from the background color, that the light was a bit yellowish too. would you have the opportunity to take a picture in more "daylight" lighting?

Pacome, this is the flower under different lighting. It's a light yellow that can get washed out in photos with bright lighting.

Thank you Josh, this is the colour form which sometimes is called "white" or "cream". Far from white, for sure, and very nice!
