Dendrobium atavus

    One of my backyardigan, the dweller of the backyard. The plant grows vigorously, but the flowers not last long enough.
    I have another one in buds too.

    I might be wrong about how long the flowers last. They have just opened this morning. And while I was taking pictures a flower dropped. Seems that's an abnormal condition. Will update later...

    Back to check some smell. It has smell, not nice though. And here is another bloom

    It looks like it is a huge den. I love the orange/peachy color and star-shaped blooms. Great plant!

    Actually it's not that huge Greg. The longest stalks are less than 50 cm.
