    It has bloomed for me a second time. I paid close attention to the fragrance. It is strong, musky, waxy, with a citrus soap note. I also detected a somewhat insect like amboinense.jpg smell.

    It can produce even larger flowers and more of them, but it needs to do a bit of growing to be able to achieve that.

    Actually, the description is from a friend who is a perfumer, we discussed the orchid smell and he helped me find the words to describe what I was smelling.

    To some people it might smell that way, to me it is a bit stink insect like.
