Didn't bloom as well this year. Maybe I need to bury it in the back of the GH all year, and then bring it to the front in the fall for more light.

I feel the same way about mine as the buds are just forming on mine. Last year I had 6+ flowers on each spike but this year there is only 2-3 on each spike.

Still a sucker for white flowers though ;)

I grow mine in moderately bright light most of the year. I've grown this species badly for many years. As I raised the minimum night temperature bit by bit over the years in the greenhouse it affected the results. From badly at 52, 53, 54, then a bit better at 55. When I went from 55 average minimum to 56 average, there was a dramatic change. I probably won't find out what 57 would do, I'd need another greenhouse for that!

    Thanks folks!

I'll heed that advice next year, Marni. I think a lot of my plants resent the fact that it gets into the mid-50s (or even low 50s if the heater's on the fritz). Maybe I'll crank it up a few degrees and see what happens...

I did not mean AVERAGE minimum, it is THE minimum unless something goes wrong with the heater (not often).
