This gift from a friend is just opening.
I have counted over 50 buds! Pretty nice gift!
Out of frame, behind it, there is a red cyclamen in full bloom... I want to get a picture of them together. It's quite the juxtaposition!

That is a nice big plant. Very nice gift. The flower shapes are so variable on these that I always enjoy seeing them posted. Thanks for the post.

Yours has very intense blue! Beautiful. Does the flower color change with temperature? I've heard that they could become bluer under cooler condition.

I haven't had the plant long enough to answer that question. It's been growing at a pretty cool temp.(55/65). It's dunked every morning in a very light fertilizer with Superthrive(1drop/gal).

Yes, I love seeing nice roots, too! There are two buckets of water with Hydroton (Hydrocorn, little beads of puffed ceramic) and water aerated with an aquarium air stone behind that plant, and about three feet away, I have an evaporative humidifier and fan. Every plant near this situation has crazy good root growth?!?
