I have been giving my Den. Ueang Pheung a winter rest since the end of November. There has been very minimal watering, and a couple of days ago I found new growth from one of the pseudobulbs. I am unsure whether this will develop into a flower spike or if this will just develop into another pseudobulb. I think it's the start of a spike since it is jutting out of the pseudobulb. If so, should I start watering it regularly?

    Hi Chris,
Coming from the side of the pseudobulb like that would be typical of a spike for this plants parentage. Congratulations.
Yes, I would start watering now.

Great! This after having this orchid for a couple of years, this is my first time giving it a winter rest. Thankfully it went well
