Got this from a former forum member. I was shocked that it turned out to be blooming size, that it made two spikes for the first bloom, and at how small the flowers are. Had to rush the pics due to my mistrust of my camera's batteries. I stuck a tag in the pot for scale.

Okay -- I have serious ang envy right now! That is one of my wish list plants. Very, very nice. So it sounds like you haven't had it too long, but what are your growing conditions?

Well done, MrB, both you and the plant.

Thanks! Growing conditions are house temps. When I got it there weren't any active roots so I put it in a place that doesn't get any regular spray from misting nozzles. It was fairly close to a humidifier but in the house, humidity is never very good. So i'm guessing the dry conditions must have triggered the spikes. It got pretty decent light, what I would call bright shade.

I got a tiny little seedling in a micro-flask off of ebay a year or two ago but it quickly died after coming out of the flask. That's the only time i've seen it for sale.

    You are my favourite poet.

Bravo!!! (I miss our applause emoticon) What a beauty. You are growing it so well and it makes me happy that you have this in your collection.
