This species grows well for me in a warm, bright, humid & very breezy location. This is a rooted cutting I acquired from a massive specimen in Santa Barbara. I hope to cross it with another plant that I've had for years. These plants are very tough & bloom reliably. Only problem is their size (they're really hard to pollinate too).

Hi, very nice. Mine doesn't bloom, It produced a stem one time but it wasn't able to produce flowers. IOSPE says cool to warm ......might it be the reason?

Well ... this plant's never seen cool since being in my possession, and I have it in one of the warmest parts of the GH. Perhaps the constant breeze from the HAF fan helps to keep it cooler. Can't be much cooler though. I have another one in a similar position that just started opening yesterday - 3 or 4 spikes - I'll see if I can get some pics tonight. It makes this plant look shy.
