This one came from Fred Clarke (Sunset Valley Orchids) last year. It's one of the few catasetinae that I have. This is its first blooming, it's still in a 3" pot. I really thought it was going to open up a couple weeks back, but the buds just kept getting bigger, almost unbelievably so. The flowers are larger than the pot. The parents are 'Jumbo' and 'SVO II' AM/AOS. I'm delighted with it, and can't wait to grow it into a whopper of a plant. :)

Congratulations, I find them impossible to grow but love seeing them.

Just bought one at a society auction 'warscewiczii Jumbo Cooper x OMG' hope it likes my conditions. Still with leaves, and even a weak (yellowing) spike. Will have to see what it wants to do in NY, having traveled here from CA. Probably dormancy, but that spike would be pretty cool if it goes back to green from a greenish yellow...
