curious idea

    Does cork last longer than cedar or teak wood? I was thinking of making mini baskets(2-5 inch big) out of cork for some of my miniatures.

    Remember that cork is just the bark of an oak tree (specifically, the cork oak). Cedar and teak are the wood of the tree. One's purpose is protection from the elements, the other for plant structure.

    I don't know how to answer that. The product quality is very good ... I have bought them several times.
    For shipping, go online and put an order together and it will give you the shipping cost before you have to complete the order. At that point you can decide if it is cost effective for you. It is always a balancing act determining price vs. shipping and which becomes the cheapest source.

    They also each are about 1.55 pounds each.
