    This is another first blooming for me. It's got an interesting fragrance that I'm not entirely sure how to describe (I also can't decide if I like it or not). Grown in part-sun, hot growing, and I don't allow it to fully dry out.

    It's refreshing to see a Coryanthes that's not called "macrantha" LOL.

    I love the spotting on this one, and the shape of the flowers. The flattened hypochile gives the lip the appearance of some oversized, exotic ladle. I wish that some of the more exotic Corys like this one were more common in cultivation.
