Not that I’m always proud of my photos, but I have been seeing them show up on eBay and some Facebook groups. I know some of you put copyright marks on your photos, does anyone have a good way of doing that with iPhone photos or on a Mac? Thanks.

In a photo editing program make a text box and type in what you want. The copyright symbol is "option G". Not that it will stop some people. You can write to the offender and tell them to stop, that usually works for me. Ebay does have a form you can fill out about copyright protection.

Thanks Marni, would that be a separate photo editing program. The one within Apple doesn’t seem to have the option.

I have Adobe Photoshop so haven't tried to find it else where. I would look for other photo editing programs or aps. There should be some inexpensive ones that would do the job. You just need something that will let you make a text box.

Thanks Marni! I was looking on the App Store and did see several choices.

There is a free program called FastStone Image Viewer. I have been using that for a couple of years and I find it very good.

Another excellent free photo viewer/editor is IrfanView . I especially like its color-correction functionality, super-easy to use. Lots of capabilities, the program is tiny - makes everything else look like bloatware. It does include the option of adding a watermark.
