The first person to guess the name of the imaged orchid will receive five species orchids when they tell me weather is suitable for shipping. I'll pay attention to plant preferences, but can't guarantee your dreams will be realized.

    Rules:

Winner must be from the contiguous US including Oklahoma but excluding Rhode Island.

Spelling counts. A guess that is intuitively correct, to me, will be ignored if there's a spelling error. This isn't second grade.

This is the only photo. Don't ask for another one.

Winner sends me a Christmas card and names their next child 'Dale'.

That will be all. Good luck.

Who do I complain to about this blatant discrimination?

    "Is it a Stelis?"

It could be. Do you have a species name?

I wasn't even in the running. I had my husband neutered. No more babies to name Dale, here.

er...why y'all be tryin' to exclude the fair folk of Oklahoma? Seems arbitrary and unfair! In the spirit of cultural, political, and spiritual unity...I demand a recount!

Haven't we already suffered enough? Alas...:(

Oh, alright. I've edited my initial post to include Oklahoma. It still looks like a meat cleaver, though.
