    Beautiful.

    I enjoy this genus but have trouble keeping them alive for more than 2-3 years. They seem healthy and bloom well then, boom, dead. Do you know if the genus is short lived or am I just not giving them something they need?

    I have the same experience with them in general, so I'm afraid I don't have any useful wisdom to impart.

    I love the color! It is so intense. Mine is in spike now, and I can not wait to see it open.
