Columnea microphylla

And here I was trying to think of what a Columnea orchid looked like

 

I have columnea gloriosa, which is similar, they are great plants. I was surprised by how the flower forms. It's a bit strange in that the whole red structure grows first, and then slowly turns bright red, until the bottom lip opens.
