I've grown this plant since the WOC in January 2008. It is always in bloom. The spikes can have up to 30 flowers over time. They natural spread on a few I measured were 1 5/8" wide. It is a bit unwieldy to get a whole plant shot, so some of the flower spikes were unceremoniously cropped out of the image.

Did some search and found this photo of a fantastic species...The flower looks good but the whole plant shot really got my attention. This is my kind of Coelogyne and it doesn't look too big, which it is a big bonus for small plants/miniatures collector. Well done, Marni. Hopefully I can find one in the future.

It is a very manageable size and always in bloom for me. Tom, your future looks bright!

Thanks, Marni. :) It is a really nice Coelogyne and I really like the look of the plant. Thanks for the whole plant shot again.

I've been digging around the forum this morning learning about this genus, and this one is really neat! Individual flowers aren't all that impressive, but your full plant shot makes it for me. Those zig-zag spikes are nice.

Is this a cool grower, Marni?
