I would definitely try to grow this if I had cooler conditions. Beautiful.
As far as I know, this does fine in Northern California. Cool nights are more impt than warm days in my opinion, and the water quality is important. We grow it fine in Southern California, so....I've got to imagine you can do it up there.
Edit: To add to this - I'm almost 100% positive I have a friend in Sacramento that grows this. i'll email him and ask
Love this one...mine hates me though
sheit on a shingle that is awesome
are the gold thingies the anthers ? so pristine
Those are wonderful photos, Dale.
I just love this bloom!
Delightful! Are you growing this mounted by chance?
All my coelogyne are in pots or baskets. At least that's where they start out.
Thanks, mine are too...but I was considering an experiment based on the way it was reaching out all around! Maybe I will snip a bit off and try it.
