I've been looking for a (reasonably mature) plant to buy and had no luck with googling. Why don't more places sell them?

Thank you! I don't know why I haven't come across that nursery before. Is it difficult to grow? I wondered why it isn't more popular - so pretty! I will order it and try my luck at growing it!

Andy's Orchids also has some very nice ones, including a variety he calls "grandiflora" which is a much tighter growing plant (some varieties of cristata ramble quite a lot) - it also has larger flowers as the name implies... Good luck! One of my all time favorite orchids - that is, if you can chill it down a bit in the winter months.

    Thanks, speciosa.

I didn't see C. cristata or grandiflora on Andy's website. I suppose I could call them to see of they have some not listed.

I called an spoke with Andy (they are so nice and helpful with growing info) and a beautiful C. cristata grandiflora was in my ht little hands a week later...along with 3 Dendrobiums.
They are such a great nursery and I love their mounts.
