Whole plant shot (not very good, a point-and-shoot) of it in full bloom. Ten spikes, 8-10 flowers per spike. Thanks again to all (especially Marni) who gave such great advice to help get it to pop like this. -Stephen

Now that's impressive. That plant has been saving itself for this!

It does seem that way! Here's a (hopefully) slightly better shot. The blooms look pretty nice, but the smell is the best part. It fills my whole growing area in the morning and early afternoon. -Stephen

Amazing! How exactly are you growing it? Potting, temps, light, moisture?

For two years I had been growing this one about 20" below a bank of T5 lights, and keeping it moist. It refused to bloom, so I moved it closer to the lights and cut back on the water, as per recommendations from some folks here on OI. It's now a little more than a foot from the lights, and I water about half of what I used to, waiting until the surface of the medium is almost completely dry before watering again. It's in a 4" plastic net pot in sphagnum moss, intermediate temps.

    Oooh!
I'm going to dig up the past because this came up in the photo feed and really caught my attention. These are surprisingly vigorous and I really need to accumulate more. This is magical.
