I have a chiloschista lunifera mounted on cork, it has a ton of roots and 3 leaves, the issue is the roots dont attach to the cork, the grow maybe 30-40mm long and cease growing. It seems to be growing well, plenty of new roots but all stop growing rapidly. Its grown in shade, alongside a Phal schilleriana which is growing quite well with quite regular waterings (unsure exactly how regular as its in a friends collection atm). Any tips would be much appreciated.

You know, that might just be what the roots do. I now move my chilochistas to a drier, cooler location for a winter rest. They seem to do better for me that way.
