Cool growing Ecuadorian species from high elevation mountain forests. Flower size is up to 1,5". Flowers are pleasantly fragrant. After seeing Caucaea cucullata, another species of this small genus, in situ I tried to grow it in cool orchidarium with no success. Looks like greenhouse conditions work better. Some blemishes on the flowers are excusable: first time bloomer manages to do it at the hottest time of the summer.

How did I miss this when you posted it? Very nice. These are not easy to grow well.
