Cattleya sincorana alba

    Pretty cool to finally have one of these flower. I did an outcross of an albescens using coerulea pollen a while back hoping there might be some alba like things. Not sure if anyone’s flowered one of the hundreds produced from that.

    At any rate, this is an alba I got from Tokyo Orchid Nursery when Masayoshi went to Cal Orchid. A shitty flower I’m not sure will ever get better.

    Congrats on the alba. Hopefully it will improve a bit over time.

    I have not had great luck with the form on sincorana anyway.
