Cattleya quadricolor is a Colombian species, blooming during mid-winter. It looks very similar to Cattleya trianae, except that Cattleya quadricolor never really opens fully, maintaining a bell-shape in slightly drooped stance, and it has an even better fragrance than C. trianae. This species also goes by two other names, Cattleya chocoensis and Cattleya candida.
