Cattleya quadricolor alba

    I bloomed this recently for the first time. It was a rescue plant and I was very surprised to see an alba. I find it very hard to photograph white flowers. This front view gives a deceptive sense of a very open flower. The quarter view isn't well lighted, but does show the cupping of the flower. A better view is shown on Ed's post shows it really well.

    Oh, Jacob, my keyboard is really lucky I hadn't just taken a sip of coffee. That's one I've never heard and hope to never hear again.
