This was my first Cattleya species, I bought it in 1986 from a vendor from Venezuela. Flowers are about 4.25 to 4.5" across. I grew it for years at 50F nights. It grew as well then as it does now at 56, but now I don't have botrytis. YEAH!!! In the last few years I have added quite a few cattleyas to my collection.

I don't understand the whole floof-girly thing, but I'm not going to worry, 'cause I can change the blade on my table saw all by myself.

That is a beauty, Marni. Do the flowers have the same smell like the normal one?

These have a fragrance, but I've only bloomed the normal color form once and didn't think to check it.

Marni, the normal one doesn't have nice fragrance. Actually the flowers are kinda smelly.
I am going to get the alba form this coming spring and I am just hoping the flower of the alba form will have nice fragrance.
