Cattleya mossiae

    This is a seedling of a semi alba form that I picked up a few years back. The dorsal seemed to recurve on one bloom (the one I photographed of course). This Venezuelan species is also known as the “Easter Orchid” as it blooms around the Easter holiday. Interestingly, the buds opened just two days ago.
