Cattleya maxima

    I've had this plant for 7 years and have bloomed it regularly. What I had never noted is how wonderful the fragrance is.

    It is in pot and long overdue for repotting.

    thanks! Since I solved my water/fertilizer problems I finally am getting beautiful white roots again.

    Some of my short growing maximas have flowers
    The dark one is C. maxima dark x self
    and the other pale colered is C. maxima ‘La Pedrena’ x self
    And then both plants to see the diffrent.

    Both very nice striata forms, especially the dark one. Would love to add that to my maxima collection. Don't know why I love this species so much, but it's one of the rare exceptions to my space-limited rule of only one per type.
