Cattleya issue

    I'm not very experienced with orchids. I have a cattleya with leaves that have started turning brown and then yellow from the bottom up. They also get loose. I lost one leaf to it and it looks like I'm about to loose a second. The other leaves seem fine. It's even sending up a new shoot. I don't know if I'm doing something wrong or whether this can be helped. Here is a picture.

    Depending on the season, age of plant, local humidity and the state of the plant roots, this can be an attempt by the plant to adjust its leaf surface area to its capacity for water uptake.
