Yaah! I finally got one at the Calgary orchid show only to get it home and find it has no roots. Any suggestions? It came from Taiwan.

Lindamarie, is it showing any signs of growth? I would try potting it in medium bark, stabilizing the plant so it can't wobble or move and keep it a bit shaded. I have a chart that lists intermedia as one that roots before it blooms, so it could be awhile before it initiates new roots. Others with more experience with cattleyas may think potting in moss is better.

Thanks for the advise. Appreciate it. I did what you advised Marni and its holding its own.
