This is a first-bloom seedling from a re-make of Cattleya Granier. Cattleya Granier is a hybrid registered by Ervin Granier in 2002, a cross of Cattleya Valentine x Cattleya Joan Landsberg. The genetic background of this hybrid is 50% Cattleya warneri, 25% Cattleya loddigesii, 12.5% Cattleya labiata, and 12.5% Cattleya bowringiana. The flowers are five and a half inches across...14cm. Good substance. Llightly fragrant.

Very nice blue! If both flowers look like that, there is definitely award potential there!
