Cattleya Fulvescens

    A first-bloom seedling of Cattleya Fulvescens (forbesii x dowiana). The original cross was registered by Charlesworth in 1901.

    The four-inch flowers are produced on a bifoliate plant about ten inches tall.

    That's a very nice primary, Ed. I like the subtle colors. Dowiana has improved the lip of the forbesii parent, IMO.

    Interesting the dominance of forbesii in this. A quick glance at this and you would guess a forbesii.
