    Hi everyone,
Long time no posts....things have been growing pretty well I guess BUT was wondering if you could tell me why when I have a number of orchids in my shadehouse, is it only the ones that have flowered previously that flower again? I think that a number where repotted about 6 months ago but the others have not been repotted for about a year and a half or two years! They all get the same treatment otherwise!

    Thanks guys,

Hello, what comes to mine is the amount of light they receive. :)

Thanks, is there an easy way to actually measure? I do have lots of trees - really big trees nearby but we are in a fairly wooded area so it is probably in the sunniest spot that I can give it! (Shadehouse that is)

Well in my opinion the Cattleyas should get as much sun as possible minus burning their leaves. Maybe move them to an outer edge of the shade house or move them up higher. Just my thoughts

My mother in law says she kept her underneath Palm trees and they received very early sun in the morning and then they were in the shade the rest of the day.
