A lithophyte described in 1876 by Gustav Reichenbach. Cattleya dolosa is believed to have originated as a natural hybrid between C. walkeriana and C. loddigesii, but unlike the primary hybrid (C. Heathii), plants of the species are genetically stable.

These cultivars are ‘Hackneau,’ ‘Lionstar’ CHM/AOS, and ‘Rubicon.’ ‘Rubicon’ is shown in spirit form. The division was destroyed after an attack by leafhoppers resulted in virus-like symptoms.

Don't tell anyone I said this, but I think I'd be okay growing those.

I love the fragrance of C. dolosa....much nicer than straight walkeriana.
