I love this bloom. Very simple and elegant, MJ.

    Can I have it someday?

Thank you all. You are very kind.
Clark, I love cattleya. Especially walker stuff, species, hybrids with walker...make a note of that, will ya? You get to many more shows then I do! ;)

Angela, yes, if I ever get rid of this or when it gets so large that it threatens the grow room and I have to take the machete to it. I'll keep you posted.

It really is very pretty even if it is just a hybrid.

Thank you, Bob. My dh mowed the lawn last Saturday. Actually, he mostly mowed weeds and errant leaves but still, it was kind of nice to hear a lawn mower!
My daffodils are coming up and the forsythias in the woods next to the house are starting to show color. I told my sister in Ohio about it and she responded, "I don't care."
I guess the Ohio ice and cold is starting to wear on her. And she wonders why I don't come up to visit in winter....

I can imagine, y'all got slammed with that ice. And to think, when I first moved here from Ohio, I missed winter. Pffft.
