Cattleya aclandiae

    First time bloomer. I accrued it in October 2010 as a small seedling and grow in warm orchidarium without winter rest. This spring plant was transferred on south-facing windowsill and decided to bloom. Fragrance is just wonderful!

    I was just out watering and noticed I already have a C aclandiae. I got it as a rescue plant about 4 years ago and haven't bloomed it. I think I'll start taking better care of it.

    Mine has not flowered either but its healthy

    Like Marni, I was just out watering and I saw a hidden blooming of my C.aclandiae !
    Naughty girl, she was blooming for the first time but on the other side of my eyes ! May be she did it already some days ago so I can not assure you the flower is fresh.
    She is mounted on a wooden stick and growing all around it.
    I am very happy, it was my great wish to see her blooming in my GH !
