Catasetum

I've got three: a Cycnoches, a Mormodes, and a hybrid between the two. One crucial thing is to keep them very dry in the winter, no water at all, until the new roots are at least an inch long - otherwise you'll almost certainly rot the emerging shoot. Once you start watering, they're heavy drinkers and feeders. Spikes will start to emerge in late summer/early fall as the leaves are turning yellow. Good luck!
