Catasetum saccatum

    I purchased this plant in Ecuador last year and was pleased when it bloomed. This year it is giving me more blooms and two spikes.

    Well done Chuck! My is still growing fat pseudobulbs but no spikes yet :(

    That's not saccatum.

    Looks like microglossum to me. Could you take a picture of the face of the flower? Iirc microglossum is found in Ecuador as well

    That looks very nice. Do you grow it on a windowsill?
    How could you take it back through customs?

    I grow it in a warmer spot in an intermediate greenhouse. Fairly high light.
    We brought plants back with phyto, CITES and import permits.
