Can not post a photo...

    Hello, I have tried to upload a photo for ID several times in the last few days...keep getting error, tried two different computers...is there a size restriction...? I have uploaded in the past with no issues...the photo is 1.6M is size. Any help!?

    If you keep the largest dimension at 800 pixels you should be fine.

    Adam, Happy New Year! Do you have any photo editing software. If it is on the cell phone you can email it to yourself and choose a smaller size. Most of mine are around 600 KB for posting.

    I'm going to snap one with the phone...I was using my nikon...I don't have editing software..

    Maybe check what format your camera is set on, too. I don't know what extensions this Forum will accept, if any, other than .jpg.

    I'll bet your camera came with some sort of editing program.

    Just tried with an iphone photo of the smallest size 32K... still wont take it...dont have time for this, i must have a problem on my end somewhere...thanks for all the help!!

    The reason you couldn't post it was because it was because it was 28.7MB. The first image shows the info on the file: way too big. You might try setting you camera to take a small JPEG and see if you can email that. Below is your sized image.
