    An evergreen calanthe that stays compact and carries flowers up to 1.75" wide. I grow this in a terrestrial mix with a minimun night temperature in the mid 40's F. I keep it a bit drier in the winter, but not a hard dry rest.

    It is potted in a mix of 3 parts fine bark, 5 parts pumice, 3.5 parts well washed coir (coco peat), 1.5 parts red lava rock. That is the same as I use for pleiones and many terrestrials.

    Bill, It is in moderate light about the same as masdevallia or a bit brighter.
