    Bulbophyllum virescens J.J.Sm., Bull. Inst. Bot. Buitenzorg 7: 3 (1900).

    From Malaysia. Needs permanent humidity. I like everything in it, shape, color, size... EXCEPT smell !! Kind of rotten fish, see ?? 8 flowers. Total size is 28 cm wide (11 inches)
    Anyway quite happy ...

    Does it stink up the whole greenhouse or do you have to sniff up close to get the stink?

    I just took it home to take the photos. It is an overpowering smell that remains in the room a long time after the plant is back in the greenhouse even if door and windows are wide open !!
