    I have to say that this cd rom is a great reference for anyone interested in the genus. Only problem is it can only run on a 32 bit version of windows which is absurd. I've been trying to partition my Mac to run a 33 bit version just for this program but I'm not having much luck.

    Here is a pic of the description from P. O'Byrne's book Lowland Orchids of Papua New Guinea.

    Thanks, Zach. That is very helpful and it gives me idea how I should treat this plant in my condition. I am happy to hear the elevation is up to 1800m, which it is much higher that I thought


    I don't know what else in that CD, if you can, would you please do the same for Bulbo. macphersonii(from Australia) when you have time?

    I was quite surprised to see it exists in that elevation as well! I'll gladly look for info for the other species. I'm not if it is in there as this disc is specific to New Guinea but I'll look!

    I've got it in subdued light, so not very bright. I'll move it tomorrow.

    Widows should let you do compatibility mode...

    Right click on the icon, and there should be some option for compatibility mode.

    Just an update: My plant has improved a bit since I asked for culture tips. Lots of new growths and new roots.---I grow it on cork mount, constant high rh(75%+), cool side of intermediate(not warmer than 70F during the day for the last 2 months or so), good air but not very strong, slightly dry-out between watering(every other day in my condition). Light level is low, perhaps not more than 1200FC.

    Tom, do you know the minimum night temperature where it is now?

    about 65F in the summer time now. Some nights if I open the basement windows, it cools off a bit more. I am not sure how it will do in the winter months(10F cooler day or night). but so far so good.

    Thanks, Tom. I was thinking of moving it to a cooler gh, but I think I'll wait.
