I purchased this species as a seedling whilst at the Vancouver W.O.C. 19 years ago. It flowers every two or three years. It has grown into a large robust plant. I have it high up in my greenhouse, it receives maximum light, good air movement and high humidity.
Unfortunately, three months ago, it accidentally fell down onto the floor, damaging several of the leaves. Luckily it has started to flower again. When in growth I give lots of fertilizer which the plant loves. B.phal.1..JPG B.phal.2.JPG B.phal.3.JPG

The longest leaf was 37 inches long and 8 inches across at the widest point.
