From Java, not yet officially described, but officially blooming right now :)
grown mounted, intermediate up to now, probably on the cooler side next winter.

Really looks like a burnt orange Masdevallia, I love it! I hoped for a bit more widespread flowers, but it may come later when the plant will be stronger.

That is wonderful. Are these readily available in Europe?

No they're not really available yet. I've been very lucky to be given a piece of it!

the flowers on my plant have sepals 5-6 cm long. I can't find pictures of nubinatum to compare.

the pictures show the same clone as mine (not sure several clones still exist, most dies after the import I've been told). Flower flatness seem to depend on the blooming conditions. I hope to get widely opened flowers someday!
I've selfed the 2 flowers yesterday, we'll see what it can do!

I'm afraid your fingers were not tightly enough crossed... both pollination failed. I'm expecting pollen from another grower for the next spike to come, but there is still 95% probability that her clone and mine are the same...

It's beautiful! I really want one now. Sorry the pollination failed, hopefully these can become more widespread, over the next several years, so we can all have one. :) I'll keep my fingers crossed for your next attempt!

How is your plant doing now? Any capsules yet? Any availability yet?
